Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog. I have wanted to start this for a while now, but it was rough finding time with a newborn. Now that Elaina is 21 months old, and we are more into a daily groove, I decided to take the plunge 🙂 I feel like I have learned so much and experienced many common (but scary) new-mom things, that I would love to ease the minds of new moms going through what I went through. I would also love advice from mom’s that have been there/done that & have tips!
About me: I am a native-Tennessean, currently living near Nashville. I have a Masters in Healthcare Informatics and a background in pharmacy. Currently, I work as a Project Manager for a healthcare company (that I absolutely love). I was there when I got pregnant with Elaina, took 8 months off for leave, and then they created a position for me to come back, working part time, solely from home. They are SO amazing, and I know how lucky I am to have this opportunity to work doing what I love, when I can, and keeping my baby home with me.
I know working from home is a relatively new concept for a lot of companies, and I was not able to find a ton of info on doing it while keeping your child at home, thus the idea to start this blog formed – HomeWorkin Mama. But, even if you are not a work-from-home or stay-at-home mom, I think you will be able to relate to a lot of the material we will discuss too! My goal is to tackle baby/toddler topics in general, DIY successes and failures, share my favorites (items, activities, recipes, etc), and everything in between.
I cannot WAIT to get to know you all & share our mom experiences.
